Your scuba diving license is valid for life. The general standard is that if you have not gone scuba diving with-in 2 years then you will need to complete a refresher course with a certified scuba diving professional. This is a general standard and different situations may require a refresher sooner. Any certified diver can enroll in a refresher course at any time for any reason.

PADI is a world renown dive organization that offers different levels of scuba diving instruction. For those interested in earning their PADI scuba diving certification, they can find a dive shop that offers PADI open water dive courses. The minimum age requirement for obtaining your open water scuba diving certification is 10 years old. If a scuba diver gets their certification and they are under the age of 15 they will receive a PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification, once they turn 15 their license converts to a PADI Open Water certification. When a scuba diver completes their open water course and obtains their diving certification they are certified for life; their scuba diving certification will never expire!

The Refresher Course is a relaxed course to get you back into scuba diving again. A morning pool training with a scuba instructor will give you time familiarize yourself again with the scuba diving gear and skills needed to have a great time. After a lunch break you will join the afternoon key largo dive trip to the famous Key Largo Dive Sites. Each Refresher Course includes all gear rental, and 2 dives, at 2 different reef locations, with a scuba instructor.
