What Is the Open Water Diver Course?
The PADI Open Water Diver course teaches you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to dive independently with a buddy to 60 ft/18 m. You’ll complete interactive eLearning, master essential skills in a pool or confined water, and finish with four open‑water training dives on our local coral reefs.
- Ages 10+ welcome (Junior Open Water for ages 10–14)
- Basic swim skills and comfort in water required
- Medical questionnaire—doctor’s clearance may be needed
