The conditions here are the reason Key Largo trains more divers than anywhere else in the continental United States.
Living coral barrier reef
The continental United States has exactly one, and it starts a few miles off our dock inside a protected state park.
Warm water all year
Comfortable in a 3mm wetsuit whichever month you book, so training is never cut short by cold.
We run every day
Courses start daily rather than on a fixed monthly calendar, so your certification fits your trip.
Per instructor, maximum
Small enough that skills get repeated until they are comfortable, not until the clock runs out.
The questions we get asked most, answered for every core certification in one view.

Ten years old for PADI Open Water. Divers aged 10 and 11 certify as Junior Open Water Divers with shallower depth limits and a requirement to dive with a parent, guardian or professional.
Yes, a PADI certification never expires and there is no renewal fee. If you have not dived in a year or more we recommend a refresher before you get back in the water.
If you want the certification, start with Open Water. If you only want to try diving on this trip, book Discover Scuba, and the dives credit toward Open Water if you decide to continue.
